How to Say I Love You Without Words

Saying the words "I love you" is just one way to express love. Here are some non-verbal ways to get the message across.

1. Be fully present. The greatest way to let a person know that you love them is to give your undivided attention, and to be fully present when they're around. Put away the never-ending work, put aside the hobby, turn off the TV, and find time to spend together, just being.

2. Make your loved one laugh. When you love someone, you love seeing them happy, and nothing exhibits happiness like genuine laughter. So, be laid back, lighthearted, and playful. See how many times in one day you can make the person smile or laugh. It's especially great to try and make someone laugh when they're not supposed to laugh.

3. Give handmade gifts. You don't have to wait until a holiday or birthday comes up in order to make handmade gifts.

4. Give that special someone a massage. Nothing spells out luxury and intimacy like a generous massage.

5. Connect from afar. Wherever you are, whether at the dinner table seated opposite one another, or across the auditorium, try to connect and send one another love. Blow kisses, play footsie, smile knowingly, or wink!

6. Be a good listener. When you sincerely listen to someone, you're not only opening your ears, but you're also opening your heart. By empathizing, you will strengthen your connection and deepen your love.

7. Hug. A hug speaks more than words ever could. It says "I love you" as well as letting the person receiving the hug know that you care and support them.

'Good Friday, also called Holy Friday, Black Friday, Great Friday, is a holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, his death at Calvary, and his Resurrection from the grave [he is risen]. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and often coincides with the Jewish observance of Passover.

Based on the scriptural details[citation needed] of the Sanhedrin Trial of Jesus, the Crucifixion of Jesus was most probably on a Friday. The estimated year of Good Friday is AD 33, by two different groups, and originally as AD 34 by Isaac Newton via the differences between the Biblical and Julian calendars and the crescent of the moon.[1][2][3][4][5][6] A third method, using a completely different astronomical approach based on a lunar Crucifixion darkness and eclipse model (consistent with Apostle Peter's reference to a "moon of blood" in Acts 2:20) arrives at the same date, namely Friday April 3, AD 33.[7][8]

In the predominantly Roman Catholic Philippines, the day is commemorated with street processions, the Way of the Cross, and a Passion play called the Senakulo. The Church keeps the day solemn by not tolling the church bells, and no Mass will be celebrated. In some communities throughout the country (most notably in the island province of Marinduque or in the San Fernando, Pampanga), the processions include devotees (termed Moriones) who self-flagellate and sometimes even have themselves nailed to crosses as expressions of penance despite health issues and strong disapproval from the Church.[29] After three o'clock in the afternoon of Good Friday (the time at which Jesus is traditionally believed to have died), noise is discouraged, some radio and television stations sign off, businesses close, and the faithful are urged to keep a very solemn and prayerful disposition through to Easter Sunday. In Cebu and other Visayan Islands the locals usually eat Binignit and Biko as a form of fasting. The elders also discourage taking a bath after 3 o'clock on Good Friday.[citation needed]

Major television networks such as SVD Communication Ministry, and the Dominican Fathers of the Philippines, and others broadcast events at Roman Catholic parishes . Observe Holy Week - Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday, known officially in the Catholic Church as Holy Thursday, is the Thursday of Holy Week. Maundy Thursday commemorates the institution of the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist was instituted during the Last Supper, the final meal that Jesus shared with His disciples before he was crucified. 

Maundy Thursday also celebrates the agony of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal of Jesus by Judas Iscariot, events that took place on the night before Jesus' crucifixion. The Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday begins the Triduum, which is the three-day celebration of the heart of the Christian faith: Christ's death and resurrection. It starts on the evening of Holy Thursday and concludes with the Evening Prayer (Vespers) of Easter. Thus the Triduum includes Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and reaches it high point at the Great Easter Vigil.

The word Maundy comes from the Latin word mandatum, which means "commandment." At the Last Supper, Jesus gave the disciples a new commandment to love one another as he had loved them (John 13:34). Prior to breaking the bread with the disciples, Jesus washed their feet. Maundy Thursday worship services include Holy Communion and sometimes foot washing as well.

Various traditions and customs are associated with Maundy Thursday, including the reciting of the creed by Catechumens from memory, the washing of feet, reconciliation of penitents, and the consecration of holy oil (chrism). Jesus washed the disciples’ feet as an act of humility and service, thereby setting an example that we should love and serve one another in humility (John 13:3-17). In some churches priests carry out a ceremonial washing of the feet of twelve men on Maundy Thursday as a commemoration of Christ's act.

The modern Western Holy Thursday service has an option for the blessing of chrism and the washing of feet. After the Maundy Thursday evening Mass the altars are stripped, the holy water stoups are emptied, and the Blessed Sacrament is carried through the church in procession to a place of reposition. Traditionally the Pange Lingua is sung during this procession. Perpetual adoration of the blessed sacrament is then encouraged. The consecrated host is then used for Good Friday Masses.
